Ideal History
Ideal Windows began trading in 1984 in Halstead. In the early nineties, the business moved to Sevenoaks Way, St Paul's Cray, and gradually expanded before moving to the Nugent Industrial Park in Cray Avenue. After six years of trading, the adjacent unit became available, allowing Ideal Windows to double the size of the premises.
Around this time, it was announced by the landlords of the estate that the leases would not be renewed past 2004, as there were plans to redevelop the site into the new Nugent shopping complex. This prompted Ideal Windows to search for new premises, which would take them into its next phase of expansion. By a touch of fate a large building became available in Lagoon Road, overlooking Cray Avenue which was the perfect size for the Company's requirements.
April 2004 saw the dawn of a new era for Ideal Windows, as after the massive upheaval of moving premises, trading began from 1 Lagoon Road.
Since then, the Company has been concentrating on raising its professionalism to a new level and has worked hard to achieve British Standard Kitemarks and Health & Safety together with accreditations such as Trust Mark, Safe Contractor, Exor and Chas.
Now in 2010 we have launched our new Branding and this Web Site you are looking at. Our plans are to open a showroom here and develop a trade counter for spares and additional Home Improvements.
Today we are delighted that local authorities are selecting Ideal Windows to manufacture for them, without the investments made this would not have been possible.
